I am an Information Specialist at the University of Calgary Libraries and Cultural Resources who helps individuals find quality information for research and personal projects. With a B.Ed. built on mathematics, and a certificate in business intelligence and analysis, I advocate for a data-centric approach to everything. As the original administrator for T-Rex, the UCalgary Libraries' chatbot, I emphasize the importance of authentic human-automation interactions for successful chatbot implementation, and the continuous analysis to improve both accuracy and the library patron experience.
